What Is Weather?

What Is Weather?

Weather is the state of the atmosphere at a certain time and place, regarding temperature, precipitation, and other factors such as cloudiness. Weather is generated by many forces, some obvious, some not. Warm, humid air masses blowing in from oceans, like, fuel rains. Sunlight heats the land, generating thermals that help produce summer thunderstorms.

Mountains and cities also affect the weather (날씨). In mountains this occurs because the wind must rise as it crosses within the ridge. This lifts the air, causing it to cool. That creates clouds, rain, or snow.

Cities, on another hand, produce urban "heat islands" where roads, parking lots, and rooftops warm in the sun. This not only raises the city's temperature, but it may affect the elements, producing thunderstorms in a few cities or altering storm tracks in others.

In this digital era, most of us are well alert to social and political issues taking invest different parts of the globe. However, there's no denying that lots of people only fully take part in such issues once they encounter them on the preferred social networking platforms. Today, it's burdensome for us to absorb new information  (even if it's physically in front of us) if it is not published on digital platforms.

With having said that, it's alarming to notice that while many young adults are fully knowledgeable in the aspect of global warming, younger generations might simply adapt to abnormal climate changes since this is what they're accustomed to. Suffice it to state the simplest way to prevent that is to constantly remind coming generations of what they can do to keep up a sustainable planet.

With global warming continuously causing more abnormal climate changes, society should cope by perpetually studying and educating the masses about sustainable lifestyle options. Though many nations are actually starting to adopt this kind of behavior, the race to win the battle against the earth's rising temperatures still has an unforeseeable future.

What can it take to wake the environmentally conscious mind of our citizens? If the clear answer is irreversible damage that could cause human life to falter in progress then we may as well say that individuals have given up. However, we mustn't disregard the quantity of progress society has established in the last decade.

Although the 21st century is hungry for industrialization and advancement, humans still recognize the significance of the floor beneath our feet and the air we breathe. The visible destruction of our forests and water sources has been the main catalyst of how exactly we perceive modern-day sustainability.

What To Expect

With the rate of the earth's deterioration, we can only expect two possible outcomes: an effective restoration of our land or a toxic non-liveable wasteland. This of course is dictated by the way we tend to a global that needs a tremendous amount of rehabilitation within the next years to come.

If our neglect within the past decades persists, abnormal climate changes is the least of our problems. We'd slowly recognize that since we failed to take care of our planet, it will be in the same way hostile to us as its inhabitants. This is the reason it's important to behave now so we can expect the best outcome in the future.

As humans, we are all element of a vast ecosystem that is dependent on the earth that welcomes the lifeforms that flourish inside each day. It is our job to educate others and begin with lifestyle changes that will produce a huge impact on the ongoing future of our environment.
